Scenario
You are a member of the Shared Governance Nursing Research Council. This council assists in guiding evidence-based research and practice improvements within the hospital. Recently, nurses have voiced concerns about professional practice problems not being addressed with a solution. In the last meeting, the council chair asked you to write an overview for the Shared Governance Nursing Research Council newsletter to provide information on research and practice considerations when encountering a no-solution scenario in reviewing nursing research. The information will be important for council members to gain insight from these situations to guide future research and practice improvements.
Directions
Write a newsletter column sharing your insights regarding this issue with to be included in the Shared Governance Nursing Research Council newsletter. Use at least three scholarly, current (published within the last five years) resources to provide evidence-based support for your work.
Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:

4. Influence: Discuss how no-solution scenarios influence nursing research and practice. Consider the following in your response:
o How these scenarios can inform future research
o How these scenarios can inform future practice
o How these scenarios can inform future decision-making processes
